Accident and Liability Insurance

Winter sports involve unforeseen risks that can occur. BASKIARAN offers Accident and Liability insurance for lessons or courses booked during their scheduled hours. The policy does not cover pre-existing injuries. For safety, it is recommended to wear approved winter sports helmets. Helmets are mandatory for children under 13 years old.

The BAQUEIRA BERET resort offers optional accident insurance with the ski pass. Details on prices and coverage are available on the website or at the resort offices.

Accident Procedure:

– In case of an accident during a lesson, the student must go to the resort’s medical center to obtain a first aid medical report.

Then, on the same day as the accident, the student or their guardian must give a copy of this report to the ski school, which will keep a copy and stamp the original.

The medical report must include the date, time, and location of the accident, the injured student’s personal information, the instructor’s name, and the cause and injuries sustained in the accident.

In case of an accident during a private or group lesson, the student must go to the resort’s medical center immediately to collect the first aid medical report, duly completed with the accident details.

Within the first 48 hours after the accident, the student must send the school’s stamped accident report to the insurance company, attaching a copy of the lesson receipt and a photocopy of their ID.
